| There has great debate on this issue
since the promoting of the "Alexandrian Texts" by Westcott and Hort. I will be
presenting a lot of information on this subject but, it is fascinating! I will be up front
about this to you. I believe that these manuscripts (of which there are only three) have
caused a lot of damage to the body of Christ and to the witnessing to the cults. I will be presenting two areas of concern. One will be the "translation" of the text and the other will be the "manuscripts" used in the translation. There are a lot of books out there that defend the Alexandrian manuscripts and virtually none that defend the "Majority text". I will explain my terms as I go so that you will not get lost. I want you to be able to defend this position for I feel that once you read this information, you will be convinced that what I am saying is true. The information is so vast, I will have to segment the information onto it's own page. If you disagree, that is fine. I would still believe you to be a brother or sister in Christ. I am not afraid of those who disagree with me, so I have put links to those sites that have the best arguement against my position at the bottom of this page. Read both sides. Make up your own mind with prayer and meditation. Remember, this is a debate inside the body of Christ and I do not accuse those who disagree with me as not being saved.
